Submission of Abstract: The participants are requested to submit their abstracts on or before May 31, 2018 at email address:

Format for Abstract-
Abstract (maximum 250 words) to be submitted with references in MS word with the following settings: 
    • Paper size – A4; Margins – 1” on all sides
    • Font – Times New Roman; Line spacing – 1.5
    • Spacing after paragraph – 6 pt. 
    • The abstract should include title of the paper (font size 14 pt, bold, capital, centre aligned), authors name (font size 12 pt, centre aligned), affiliation (font size 12 pt, centre aligned) with e-mail id (font size 10 pt, centre aligned). 
    • The author who is presenting the paper should be underlined and the principal author should be marked with an asterisk (*). 
    • The body of abstract should be justified with font size of 12 pt. Maximum of 6 keywords (bold, font size: 12 pt) to be mentioned at the end of the body. References have to be included in the following pattern:
    Blacklock K.M.; Yachnin B.J.; Woolley G.A.; Khare S.D.; J. Am. Chem. Soc., 140, (14-17), 2018.
    • Along with the abstract, attach the passport size photograph of the presenting author.

A bioactive compound is a substance that has an effect on a living organism, tissue /cell. These compounds are found in both plant and animal products or can be synthetically produced. Isolation, characterization, investigations related to the mode of action, chemical synthesis, and explorations related to medicinal applications of bioactive molecules have been areas of intense research in recent times. However, biopharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and bio-analytical science are newly emerging fields with potential applications to serve the society.
Bioactive compounds from medicinal plants, either as pure compounds or as standardized extracts, provide unlimited opportunities for new drug leads because of the unmatched availability of chemical diversity. The chemical synthesis of bioactive compounds is attracting a lively interest in research laboratories around the world today. Synthesis of challenging molecular architecture of bioactive compounds presents for the discovery and invention of new synthetic strategies and methods to be used in a wider range of applications. Research in the domains such as medicinal chemistry, biopharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, enzyme catalysis revolve around bioactive compounds.
